I guess she reneged on her accusation that buttaflai served Uncle Ben's rice at her wedding.
Eyeroll.

That was like the 3rd or 4th post she's deleted. The last time it happened, she woefully apologized, attributed it to a beginner's mistake and promised it wouldn't happen again.
If she doesn't want to hear various responses, she shouldn't waste her time in a public message form.
....And yeah, accusing buttaflai of serving Panda Express at her beautiful wedding was pretty ridiculous. That's something I expect to hear from the hillbillies in my fair state, not from a member of the tribe!

argh damn, this is what i miss. can i get a recap? i vaguely remember the "beginner's mistake" apology. how in the world does someone get the assumption of uncle ben's rice from buttaflai's wedding details?!

It was casey880's post about "Pleasing Older Asian Guests" asking whether she should have American or Chinese food. We all gave her helpful advice, and buttaflai mentioned that she had served fusion food at her wedding.
casey asked if "fusion" meant Panda Express or similar (right, because a classy wedding like buttaflai's would have had fast food), and buttaflai responded no, and also mentioned that the only she wasn't pleased with the way the rice was cooked. casey remarked that "Uncle Ben's rice can do that."
wtf.

Ha! I didn't get to read casey's Uncle Ben retort. She's so charming.
I hope casey (or her SN reincarnation) is reading this. I hope she realizes that deleting posts is really disrespectful to the ppl who have taken the time out to give advice and constructive feedback.
DD'ing on this board is especially horrible b/c the same 5 issues come up in rotation. It would be nice if a bride could scroll down each page and find an answer to her questions, instead of re-posting the same Q.

Wow... Can't believe I missed that drama too. Is there a way for the posts to be saved and archived or something like that? So people can't delete it if it's an important issue?

Casey said that she was afraid that a former friend who is jealous of her wedding planning is stalking her; not to defend her actions, but to recall the reason she gave us for deleting her posts.
