This is a little random, but I have had many people ask me where the good Taiwanese restaurants are... and my response is almost always Taiwan =D
Joking aside, anyone here who can recommend me some good Taiwanese restaurants? I usually go to the Porkchop House in NYC Chinatown or Gu Shang in Flushing, but frankly haven't tried the other places. I would be up for recommendations in Philly as well.
What I really miss are good red oil wontons :)

I haven't found any Taiwanese restaurants in Philly. In fact, it took me awhile to find a decent Cantonese restaurant - Shiao Lun Kung. I know it's not exactly Taiwanese, but there are a couple great places for xlb (soup dumplings).
