DIY Flower Gate

I have a question about the gate decorated with flowers that goes outside the front door of the bride's home.
I'm having trouble finding one that I like pre-made so I'm looking to make mine. I am thinking of buying the gate from like a Home Depot or a Michael's and then buying the fake flowers seperately. But I don't know how to decorate it.
How did you girls do it?
